I am having a hard time deciding when to come back for our 2nd Disney vacation. I will turn 40 the week of Thanksgiving in 2019 and I will be graduating from college May of 2020. I want to celebrate at Disney, and suggestions to help me decide which?

    Hi Bobby!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! WOW! You have two very exciting events coming up in the near future!

My first obvious response is, do BOTH!!! But if you have to choose, I would celebrate your 40th birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort. Of course, I say that because my philosophy is that life is short. I celebrate while I can! Mickey and Minnie Mouse adore birthday celebrations. Once you book your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, make a note on your reservation that you are celebrating a birthday. Then, once you arrive to your resort hotel, request a special birthday button to wear during your visit. We now have a tradition of celebrating my husband's birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort and our girls love wearing the celebratory buttons.

We always make a dining reservation at a signature restaurant for my husband's actual birthday. Our favorite is California Grill. We love to dine while watching the Happily Ever After fireworks. You may also want to check out the Enchanting Extras Collection and Disney Floral & Gifts. In the past, we have booked a nature experience and ordered special princess balloons for our girls. If you do go for your birthday during Thanksgiving, be sure to consider some of the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort activities. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a BLAST!

Bobby, I also understand how important college graduation is. Whatever you decide will be perfect. If you do decide to go during Thanksgiving, book early. As beautiful as the holiday season is, it can be incredibly busy!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
