We are having a hard time choosing which of the Moderate Resorts to book. We've X-ed out the Carribean b/c of its size, can't decide between the Coronado or the other sister resorts. We will need 2 rooms; grandparents, us, and a 4 & 7-yr old. Advice?

    Hi Beth,

If you've crossed off Caribbean Beach due to its size, then I would suggest Port Orleans French Quarter for your family. You'll find Coronado Springs to have even more walking than Caribbean Beach and Port Orleans Riverside is also very large.

French Quarter is a beautiful resort. It's small with loads of charm! The kids will enjoy the Doubloon Lagoon pool which has a fun slide for younger children. There's a playground too.

Boat transportation to Downtown Disney is convenient and fun for the whole family.

The rooms were just renovated this past year, so you'll benefit from the new decor as well as queen size beds!

When our son was younger and we had grandparents in tow, we stayed at this resort and everyone had a fun time. It's very convenient when traveling with small kids and grandparents to select a smaller resort such as Port Orleans French Quarter!
