We will be having a double celebration in september 2016 as we will be going to walt disney world to celebrate our 25 th wedding anniversary and our sons 21 birthday any ideas how we can make it extra special for this special occasion for us all

    Kay:

Making your trip special begins with your resort. I'd recommend looking at the Epcot resort area, specifically Boardwalk Inn or the Yacht & Beach Clubs. All put you right in the middle of the action between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios with nightly views of Illuminations Fireworks not to mention the lights of the Boardwalk area.

September brings warm weather and low crowds, so you can enjoy all that the pool at the Yacht & Beach Club has to offer. While the Boardwalk's pools are lesser renown, its views of  Crescent Lake provide a respite from the parks. We enjoyed its concierge level Deluxe rooms a few years ago and the convenience of their continental breakfast as well as their afternoon hors deouvres were a treat.

If you're looking for a memorable meal, you only have to visit nearby Yachtsman's Steakhouse or your choice of several dining locations at Epcot from elegant Monsieur Paul to entertaining Coral Reef, gregarious Biergarten to scenic San Angel Inn. Top off a night with a specialty cruise that will depart from one of the Crescent Lake marinas to travel down the canal to Disney's Hollywood Studios and back to Epcot to enjoy a breathtaking and closeup view of Illuminations.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
