Cheers, Phillip!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for stopping by with your excellent question - exactly what we are here for.
Like your daughters, I also enjoy a glass of wine with the wonderful meals available at dining locations in Walt Disney World® Resort. The dining options are one of the reasons I love Disney Destinations so much, land and sea. My husband and I like to assess our beverage needs when ordering because, you're correct, ordering a bottle can be a better value than a single glass. It's nice when we can save by agreeing on the same variety or varietal.
However, guest safety is always a priority at Walt Disney World® Resort and most dining locations will not allow guests to leave the restaurants with open glass containers, especially at restaurants within the theme parks. The policy of the resort hotels is up to the discretion of each individual restaurant management. Your daughters can also purchase wonderful bottles of wine in the resort hotel gift shops to keep in their rooms.
I do have a suggestion for you to consider!
• A great number of dining locations offer the "Quartino" size in their wine selections. This sized option usually offers up between one and a half and two glasses of wine and is very competitively priced when compared to a single glass. I choose this option just last week while dining at Trattoria al Forno in Disney's BoardWalk area. I found it to be the perfect amount.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding vino options at Walt Disney World® Resort. You're also visiting during the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, one of my favorite special events with beverage seminars available, too!
Happy dining,
Faith
