Hello Moms! We are having a disney escape wedding in January and instead of a reception will be taking our 10 guests out to dinner. Can any of you think of a festive restaurant that will be formal enough for a wedding celebration?

    Sara,
Congratulations on your upcoming Disney wedding. It's a very special experience to be a Disney bride!

When we were planning our vow renewal, we looked in to many restaurants for our reception dinner before we upgraded to a reception. I think an intimate dinner at a fine restaurant will be magical!

Since you are having an Escape wedding, I'll suggest restaurants near each of the ceremony venues.

Disney's Wedding Pavilion or Sunset Pointe at the Polynesian- I would venture to the Grand Floridian or Contemporary Resort for your special meal. At the Grand Floridian, choose between Citrico's in the main building or Narcoossee's which sits right on the water. You could arrive by boat for a grand entrance!

Wedding Gazebo at the Yacht Club or Seabreeze Pointe at the Boardwalk Resort - bluezoo restaurant at the Dolphin Hotel

Sunrise Terrace at the Wilderness Lodge - Artist Point

Will your guests have park passes? If so, then you can consider dining at a theme park. For instance, if you are at the Yacht Club or Boardwalk for your ceremony, you could go to Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot to carry on the seaside setting atmosphere. A quaint wedding at either place would also be nice to extend with dinner at Bistro de Paris or Chefs de France. Note that when we were planning our vow renewal, wedding gowns could not be worn in the theme parks without special permission.

Consider your theme, budget and convenience for your guests. Best wishes to you!
