We are having dinner at Raglan Road on Thursday night. I love the Shepherd's Pie & the fish & chips, but I've never had the ham schnitzel. Should I play it safe and have the Shepherd's Pie or fish & chips, or try the ham?

Slainte, Edward! We're traveling to Ireland today with this great question!

Irish eyes are always smiling after a visit to Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant at Downtown Disney! I know for this Irish girl, hitting Raglan Road for a pint of Guinness and a browse of all the Emerald Isle gifts in the shop at the front of the restaurant is one of my Disney must-dos!

Raglan Road's celebrity Master Chef, Kevin Dundon, is known for combining traditional Irish cuisine with unexpected, modern twists. My husband is a fish-and-chips kind of guy, so he'll always go that route. I'm not a meat-eater, so I'm afraid I've never tried the shepherd's pie or the ham. If you do try something new and decide it's not to your liking, I'm sure they'll do whatever they can to accommodate you. It's something I'd suggest discussing with your server ahead of time. He or she can describe the dish to you, and give you some options. And there's always the possibility of sharing two entrees with someone else in your party who might also like to try something new.

For dessert, you might consider popping right around the corner to Cookes of Dublin to try the Doh Bar - a battered and deep fried Snickers bar. It's pure, fried chocolate deliciousness.

Whatever you choose, Edward, Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is always a cracking good time. I hope you enjoy your day there!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
