We are having dinner at Norway on the day we are at EPCOT. I want my girls to be able to dress up, but I can't carry their costumes around all day. What is the best option?

Hello Karen!  It's exciting to see a fellow North Carolinian asking a question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You've got a couple of options when it comes to your costume dilemma.  If you plan to spend all day at the park, I suggest renting a locker when you get to Epcot.  The cost to renting a locker is pretty inexpensive, especially when you considered the value of not having to haul around princess dresses all day!  We've rented a locker before for this exact reason and it worked out great!  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort (or even off property), you could leave the princess dresses in your hotel room and head back to change later in the day.  Sometimes, it is nice to take an afternoon break from the parks to go for a swim or to take a nap.  If this is something you plan on doing, leave the dresses in the room and change later.  If you don't have a Park Hopper Ticket, you can still leave and reenter the same Walt Disney World Theme Park with your Standard Base Ticket as many times in a day as you would like.  The other option is to have your girls wear their dresses around all day.  My daughter likes to wear her princess dresses around the parks all day because she gets a lot of attention from the characters and Cast Members.  This is great because you don't have to spend money on a locker, leave the park or carry anything around but by the end of the day the dresses may not look as fresh for your dinner.

I just know you are going to have a great time at Walt Disney World.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.  Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
