    We are having dinner at the Boathouse at Disney Springs. We will be in the magic kingdom. We were thinking of taking the boat to Disney Springs from our resort at Port Orleans. How long will it take to get to Disney Springs?

    Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and for sending us your great question about Walt Disney World Resort water transportation.

    You are in for a real treat at The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats. It is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort.

    You have made a great choice deciding to take boat transportation from your Resort hotel to Disney Springs as this is normally the fastest way to travel to Disney Springs.

    I am unsure of whether you are staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, but it will take you approximately the same amount of time to arrive at Disney Springs from either Resort. If you are staying at Riverside, it may take you a couple of minutes longer if the boat stops at French Quarter on the way to Disney Springs.

    After having stayed at both Resort hotels, I normally expect it to take about 15-20 minutes to arrive at Disney Springs from either hotel. I also recommend that you give yourself extra time for any unexpected delays.
