I am having a difficult time figuring out when the Wishes Fireworks is scheduled. We will be in WDW from Oct 22-29 and I am trying to arrange my California Grill reservations accordingly. Is it better to try to view the show from dinner or before/aft?

    Hi Cindy,

I'll be quite honest that we often like to watch Wishes one night from California Grill as well as a second time in front of the castle because they each provide such unique experiences.

On October 22, 24, 26, and 29, Wishes fireworks are at 9:00.  And there is currently The Magic, The Memories and You, which is a photo/video collage of guests that is projected onto the castle and is truly amazing and is one of the reasons why we like watching the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom since this special event would be difficult to see from outside the park.

On October 23, 25, 27, and 28, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is happening with Hallowishes fireworks those nights, which would be great to watch from the California Grill. In the past, the fireworks have been at 9:30 pm (but I can't confirm that as the time for this year).  If I were to make dining reservations, I'd aim for 8:00 or earlier so that you could first eat and finish your meal before the fireworks begin - I think that is more relaxing.  And regardless of how early you eat, you are welcome to come back to watch the fireworks that same day by simply showing your receipt.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel; please let us know if we can help again.
