Bonjour, Ka Ho, and welcome to planDisney! While I may not have a magic wand, I'm here to help you create enchanting moments on your Disney Cruise.
I completely understand being disappointed about missing the
Royal Gathering of Princesses, but don’t worry – there are still plenty of opportunities to meet and interact with royalty throughout your cruise. Just like Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app works a little magic of its own. With a wave of your wand (or tap of your finger), you can favorite character encounters by selecting the heart icon next to the listing. And at the stroke of fifteen minutes before, you’ll receive a reminder to dash off and meet your favorite princess – no glass slippers required!
I also suggest checking the app while on board for any openings for the Royal Gathering. On my last cruise, I noticed several spots became available that weren’t open before we set sail. In addition to meeting the princesses, you’ll have the chance to hang out with Mickey and the gang, battle alongside pirates, and maybe even save the world with a few superheroes. There’s always something magical happening!
If you have a Belle fan in your midst, you absolutely cannot miss the
stage production of "Beauty and the Beast." My in-laws enjoyed the show so much they watched it twice! If you have main seating for dinner, you will eat and go to the later performance in the Walt Disney Theatre. You will enjoy the earlier performance before dinner if you have second seating.
I hope you have the best time ever aboard the Disney Dream. With so much magic and adventure awaiting, it will surely be an unforgettable voyage!
Bon Voyage!
