    After having to cancel WDW twice this year, we have made our reservations for May 2021. I was refunded for my DDP and am wondering if it will be offered in 2021? C19 is such a fluid situation and I realize I’m looking at almost a year away.

    There is no official date yet set on when the Disney Dining Plan will return. You are correct; it is difficult to know how long the current policies in place to help keep everyone safe will need to be in place. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World website for updates. 

    I love the Disney Dining Plan because all of our food is paid for in advance. To duplicate this idea, you can purchase Disney Gift Cards before your arrival for the amount you are budgeting for those tasty meals and snacks. You can still use your Magic Bands when paying for your food, and then use the gift cards to pay your balance at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The credit card you have linked to your room will not be charged as long as you pay off these items the evening before you check out.
