    If we are having breakfast at the royal banquet ,does epcot have to be a theme park for the day

    Hello Melissa,

    Thanks for writing to us!  How exciting that you have a character breakfast booked at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot!  Here, you and any budding princesses will dine inside a castle alongside of some of Disney's finest, including:
    • Snow White
    • Cinderella
    • Bell
    • Ariel
    • Princess Aurora
    Given that Akershus Roya Banquet Hall is located inside Epcot, admission to the park is, in fact, required and you will need to use your park ticket to enter.  If you opt not to purchase tickets with a Park Hopper Option, your entrance to Epcot will be your selected park for the given day.  You can certainly leave Epcot, return to your resort for a rest and return back to Epcot that same day.  

    Have a magical character meal!
