We will be having breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then going to Hollywood Studios for the day. Since Chef Mickey's is at the Contemporary, will we have to use a pass? What is the easiest way to go from the Contemporary to Hollywood Studios? Thanks so much

    Hi Amy!

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is a fantastic way to start the day!  My children absolutely love Chef Mickey's and it has become a "must do" on every trip!

By "pass", I'm assuming you mean a park ticket.  Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary Resort which is on the monorail, but outside the Magic Kingdom.  Thus you will not need to use a theme park ticket to get to the restaurant.

While I don't think you are driving yourself, based on your last question, I will give you directions in case you are curious!  You would drive towards the Magic Kingdom from your resort and when you approach the gates for the Magic Kingdom parking lot, stay in the lane to the far right.  Tell the Cast Member that you are going to the Contemporary Resort and he or she will let you in.  When you get to the Contemporary, tell the Cast Member that you have a reservation at Chef Mickey's; they usually check that against a list they have so have the confirmation number handy just in case!

After enjoying your breakfast, you can take a bus directly from the Contemporary Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Just go downstairs to the lobby and walk towards the front door.  Just before you get there, you will see an automatic door on the right.  The bus stops are directly ahead via the door on the right.

Enjoy your breakfast and have a magical vacation!
