    does having a account cost?

Hi, Andrea! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the great things about having a Disneyland Resort account is that it's absolutely free! While you will log in to your account to purchase tickets or book vacation packages, just setting up an account costs nothing at all. Further, the Disneyland app is free to download as well. You will use the app when you are in the parks to help you navigate around the resort, look up attraction wait times and FASTPASS return times, access PhotoPass photos, and so much more. You can link a credit card to your account that will be used if you choose to guarantee dining reservations, purchase Disney MaxPass, or buy tickets on the app. But you will have to confirm your purchase and possibly provide additional information like a CVV code before anything is charged to your credit card.

I also like to use the app to help plan for my trip. I like to see where characters are meeting around the parks and in general what times they usually meet. I can also make dining reservations on the app up to 60 days in advance. In addition, I make mental notes of attraction wait times through out the day several days before my trip to help me develop my touring plans.

If you have any other questions about your Disneyland account or the Disneyland app, please visit us again! Have a magical day!
