Greetings, Theresa, and a warm welcome to
planDisney!
Your magical visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth will be here in just a few short days… time for a happy dance! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started!
First off, good job on securing a
Park Hopper ticket – this is a great way to experience the magic of both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park in one day! Plus, since both parks are literally steps away from each other, you’ll be able to “hop” back and forth with ease. So, here’s how the Park Hopper ticket works – when you booked your ticket and made your park reservation, you were asked to select which park you wanted to start your day in. So, even if Disney California Adventure Park was the only park that showed availability for your chosen date, you’ll still be able to hop on over to Disneyland Park any time after 1:00 PM, subject to availability. I’ve visited the parks several times recently, and haven’t had any trouble park hopping to the other park after 1:00 PM. When hopping right at 1:00 PM, I’ve noticed the lines can back up a bit at the front entrance turnstiles, so you may want to wait an extra 10 to 15 minutes so you won’t have to wait as long for your hopping privileges to begin.
Did you know that you can also use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering for one park even when you’re still in the other park? Just last night I placed a mobile order for ice cream from
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor while standing in Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, and by the time my crew exited the park, entered Disneyland Park, and found a spot to sit to enjoy our ice cream, our mobile order was ready for pickup!
Last but not least, here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day. Don’t miss
Mickey’s Mix Magic with Projections at 9:00 PM at Disneyland Park – the songs are so catchy, you can’t help but dance along!
Sending loads of pixie dust your way for a magical visit next week, Theresa!
See ya’ real soon!
