We haven't been to Walt Disney World in 4 years. They used to have a savings plan to be used to save up to a year ahead for a vacation. Is there anything like this still?

    Dear Michaele,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

At this time, there is no longer a savings plan like there once was. It has been discontinued. I recommend booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation as soon as you're ready (you can even book a room-only reservation up to 499 days in advance of check-in). You can place a small deposit, and then make monthly payments as you get closer to your trip. My family frequently does this, taking our time paying off our future Walt Disney World Resort vacations ahead of time.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
