Alana,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
A question about food?
Yes please! There is nothing wrong with picky eaters. Everyone at Disney gets to eat what they want, that is how it should be! I have some picky eaters in my household, so this is right up my alley. Let's look at this, park-by-park.
Magic Kingdom Park Our family favorite is the
Columbia Harbour House, located in the Liberty Square area. It has your mentioned chicken strips, which is our girl's go-to meal, but my wife and I can get something a bit off the beaten path. They used to have an amazing hummus sandwich, which makes a return to the menu every now and then. They also have a lot of great seafood choices.
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café has also become one of our standard stops, as it has so many reliable mainstream menu choices including BBQ, burgers, salads, and chicken strips.
Disney's Hollywood StudiosWhen we are in the Studios, we have two lunch paths. The first is to go visit the array of stands on Sunset Boulevard, down near
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Spots like
Rosie's All-American Café, and all the other nearby stands when combined cover most of the food basics you might think of. The outdoor seating is also very nice, and great for people-watching. Otherwise, we hit the
Backlot Express. It is conveniently located in the center of the park and carries enough standards to keep everyone in the family happy.
BONUS TIPBe sure you have the
My Disney Experience App loaded onto your smart phone before entering the parks. The Disney Genie service is great at speeding up your lunch time by helping you with locating and ordering counter service meals with the
Mobile Online Ordering service.
So there are a few choices for you.
Let me know some other places you will be, like at a resort hotel,
Disney Springs, or
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, and I can offer more suggestions. I always love chatting about food!
Have a Magical (and delicious) Vacation!Doug
