Friend from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I haven't visited Disneyland in years. I recall a dine in restaurant from a ride that showed Pirates. Anyone knows if this restaurant available?

Hey there, Friend! What a lovely name. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to ask about one of my favorite restaurants at Disneyland Resort!

Blue Bayou Restaurant is open again after recent renovations. It is a highly popular restaurant, and it can be difficult to find advance reservations (as dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.) I have recently had good luck with the walk-up list. I recommend visiting the host stand around 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to see if you can secure a reservation that day for lunch or dinner. Visiting earlier in the day improves your chances of getting a reservation.

The lighting, décor and ambiance at Blue Bayou Restaurant create a perfect setting for a delicious, New Orleans inspired meal. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a favorite for many Guests. I am vegetarian and always find a delightful seasonal option for myself. They have a terrific wine list and several non-alcoholic options, like the Mint Julep or Louisiana Lemonade. After you finish your meal, stroll over to the Mint Julep Bar around the corner to enjoy a few Mickey-shaped Beignets for dessert, then head over to Pirates of the Caribbean to sail through the swashbuckling adventure of a lifetime!

As Princess Tiana says, “If you do your best each and every day, good things are sure to come your way.” I hope that means that a delightful meal at Blue Bayou Restaurant is in your destiny!

    See ya real soon,
    Kamini
