Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Amanda. I am super excited to hear you're planning another visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! While you'll find that much has changed since your last visit, I know you'll experience the same magic you did as a child.
The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making sure that all Guests have a safe and accessible visit. I'm pleased to tell you that you can absolutely count on your
dietary needs being met during your stay. The Special Diets Team makes an incredible effort to accommodate Guests with special dietary requests. In most cases, you won't need to make advanced arrangements for your low-carbohydrate diet. When you arrive at a dining location, you can just request to speak with a special-diets trained Cast Member or the chef. At select quick-service dining locations, you can even
place mobile orders that accommodate your dietary needs! Should you have any questions or concerns relating to dining ahead of your visit, I encourage you to contact the Special Diets Team by emailing Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you!
You may certainly bring your insulin into the theme parks. Loose ice is not permitted, so to keep it cold, use reusable ice packs or bagged ice in a cooler. My fellow panelist,
Anna, has some great tips about taking insulin into the theme parks. Be sure to check them out!
I can't think of a better place to
ring in the New Year than at the Walt Disney World Resort. Special celebrations are often scheduled in
and out of the theme parks, but you won't see that news posted quite yet. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. It's your best resource for news and updates about Disney Parks and destinations! When special offerings for the New Year are announced, you'll see that information posted on the
Disney Parks Blog.
I hope this was helpful, Amanda. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
Ashley
