I haven’t been to Disney since 2009 and interested in returning either for an adult trip and or Possibly bringing the family. I’ve looked into the vacation club back then when it was relatively new but wondering what the prices are currently.

Hey there, Shannon! Welcome to planDisney! It makes my heart so happy to see you interested in visiting Walt Disney World Resort and looking into Disney Vacation Club - two of my favorite things!

After Walt Disney created his first theme park, Disneyland, he stated, "[It] will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world." So many years later, the Company still holds true to those ideals, and since you've last vacationed at Walt Disney World Resort, so much innovation and magic have been added. Whether you choose to plan an adult-only jaunt or a memorable family vacation, there is sure to be something for everyone. You will be wonderstruck by the amount of new dining experiences, innovative attractions, entertainment and even new Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

Disney Vacation Club is Disney's flexible, magical vacation ownership program. Members purchase a real estate interest at a Home Resort, represented by Vacation Points, that can be used year after year to book deluxe accommodations at the Most Magical Place on Earth and so many more domestic and international destinations. When first looking into becoming Members and beginning to calculate costs, I suggest starting by determining how many Vacation Points you will need in order to travel the way that suits you and your family. As my personal example, as a family of three, we knew that we could travel comfortably staying in deluxe studio accommodations, but we also wanted to be able to take family and friends with us and stay in one or two-bedroom villas. We then studied the Points Charts to determine approximately how many Vacation Points we would need to travel in our desired accommodation size during our travel seasons.

Once you have an idea of how many Vacation Points you and your family may need, you can call (800) 500-3990 for a personalized quote or visit the Disney Vacation Club website to get an estimate of the total cost, including any current offers or discounts. Just slide the scale over to the amount of Vacation Points you're interested in to see your current estimate! There is a Membership to suit every family looking to invest in making magical memories for years to come.

For my family, our Disney Vacation Club Membership is our guarantee that our next magical and unforgettable vacation is always right around the corner, and for us, that is priceless. My only regret is not becoming Members sooner!

Shannon, I am so excited to see what magical journey is on the horizon for you, and I'd love it if you'd stop by any time with any of your vacation planning questions! Happy planning!
