I haven't been to Disney in a few years. Is lunch at Be Our Guest still considered a "counter service" where I do not need a reservation?

    Hi Chris,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Be Our Guest Restaurant is my absolute favourite place for lunch at Walt Disney World Resort, I am so glad you are considering returning!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is still considered a Quick-Service Dining Location for both breakfast and lunch, however the procedure has changed since it first opened and reservations are now highly recommended for  guests wanting to enjoy breakfast and lunch.  You are able to make your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance, and due to Be Our Guest Restaurant’s popularity, I would suggest making your reservations as soon as your 180 day window opens.

Another change is that that guests are now able to pre-order lunch and breakfast if you would like, to make dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant even more convenient.  When you look at your reservation in My Disney Experience, to the right side of the page you will see a link to order.  Simply click on the link and make your choices!

I hope you enjoy Be Our Guest Restaurant as much as I do, Chris.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always here to help.
