Hi! We haven't decided on our vacation itinerary yet but I want to make ADR to avoid getting shut out of our favorite places. Can I make multiple reservations for the same date/time and then cancel the surplus after we make finalize our plans?

    Hi Courtney,

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question!  It seems like you are well on your way to planning a memorable vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, I am happy to hear that you are starting to think about Advanced Dining Reservations and itineraries.  Your advanced planning will certainly pay of when you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!

In terms of Advanced Dining Reservations, guests are able to make multiple reservations on the same date, however not at the same time.  This is to give more guests the opportunity to book and enjoy all of the fabulous restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort.  From my experience, if you attempt to book another dining reservation within a two hour window, you will be prompted that you have conflicting dining reservations and you will need to cancel your existing reservation to confirm the new reservation.  With that said, you could possibly make reservations for an early dinner sitting and then a late dinner sitting, cancelling the option that does not work once you finalize your itinerary.

I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Courtney.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to make your "Disney Time" even more memorable.
