I haven't got a car and am staying in a hotel on South manchester avenue. Can I get the toy story shuttle to take me to the park. And is it free?. My hotel is about a 15min walk to the parking lot

Welcome to planDisney, Babs. We're so glad you found us to ask this question. Oh my! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is practically here and I'm delighted to help you prepare.

There are so many wonderful Good Neighbor Hotels located near the resort and a variety of options for making your way to the theme parks. If you are near the Toy Story Parking Area, you can absolutely walk into the lot and hop on a bus to the resort. The bus will drop you off at the Main Entrance Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and the ride is complimentary.

Another option to consider for getting to the parks is Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART). These are buses that stop near many of the Good Neighbor Hotels and drop you off at the same place as the Toy Story Parking Area buses. There is a nominal fee for using this service, however, I find that it's well worth it to save some steps at the end of a long park day. I recommend checking with the front desk at your hotel for additional information and to see if there might be a stop near your hotel. I often use this bus service when staying at Good Neighbor Hotels and find the buses to be convenient and clean.

It's a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort. The Season of the Force and Pixar Fest will be in full swing during your visit. It's an especially great time if you happen to be a foodie. There are so many seasonal, festive offerings for both of these events and I highly recommend checking out the Disney Eats: Pixar Fest Foodie Guide and the Disney Eats: Season of the Force Foodie Guide. After perusing both of these, I definitely felt a rumbly in my tumbly.

Well, Babs, I hope that the information I've shared is helpful as you are getting ready for your magical adventure. Do come back to ask us anything else that you might be curious about. Here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Happy planning!
