I haven't been camping since I was a kid. What do I need to bring with me?

    Hi Heather,

I'm going to assume that you will be staying at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness so what I can say for sure is, WOW, what a great experience you are in for!

What you need to bring all depends on what you consider to be your ideal way to camp.  Roughing like the early settlers, or roughing it in the lap of luxury with all the conveniences of home.  There are four different types of campsites that you can call your home away from home.  Visit the site to determine what type of campsite you will be staying at, determine the conveniences of home that you want with you and go from there!

BUt no matter what, don't think that you'll need to catch and cook your own meals.  First, there are no weapons of any kind allowed, second, you have great restaurant choices nearby and of course all the Walt Disney Resorts are just a quick trip away using the convenient Disney Transportation.  FOr more information on camping at Disney's Fort WIlderness click here.
