I haven't booked our WDW resort yet as DH is waiting on final vaca approval, but the 60 day window to start booking FPs is soon! What is Disney's cancellation policy in the (unlikely) event his vaca request isn't approved? I want to book NOW!

Hello Katie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we're so glad you're here.

I love how you're planning on being a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest where you'll bask and enjoy all the conveniences and amenities offered. Our family loves Disney's Magical Express complimentary transportation to and from our Disney Resort hotel and Orlando International Airport.

Katie, I can sense your great anticipation with booking your vacation, please keep in mind, however, that unless you book your Disney Resort hotel first you'll have to wait until 30-days before your check-in to secure your FastPass+ experiences. As you are well aware, Disney Resort hotel Guests currently have the convenience of reserving Disney's FastPass+ experiences 60-days before check-in. I'm going to sprinkle some Pixie Dust  your way so that your husband's vacation approval aligns with your desired plans.

To cancel or modify your reserved FastPass+ selections you can easily do it up until the start of your arrival window using My Disney Experience online or through the mobile app or by utilizing the FastPass+ Kiosk in every Disney Theme Park.

Katie, I truly hope that all works out in your favor and we would be honored to assist you with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans in the near future.

Best Pixie Dusted wishes to you.
