    Will haunted mansion holiday overlay still be up for the 2024 Marathon weekend?

    Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for bringing another question our way! 

    I am getting very excited about runDisney race weekend. It will be my first runDisney event and I know it will be one for the books! Next year’s event takes place January 11 through 14, 2024. 

    Haunted Mansion Holiday is one of my favorite seasonal attractions! I always love seeing how Jack has decked the halls in a mashup of Halloween meets Holiday decor. But, this unique overlay only runs through January 7, 2024. So it will not be available during race weekend. At that time, it will be undergoing the transformation back into the classic attraction. 

    But there is plenty of other fun to be had during race weekend. Head over to Matterhorn Bobsleds if you are looking for a wintery ride exclusive to Disneyland Park. Did you know the tracks on each side of the mountain are slightly different? Be sure to catch a ride on both sides and decide which one you prefer.
