Hi there, Does the Haunted Mansion in DL shut down on Jan 9th to change out of the Nightmare before Christmas theme? We are trying to get there before its gone. If we are at the park on Jan 8th and 9th would we be able to see it?

Welcome to planDisney, Katie!

Haunted Mansion Holiday is a perennial favorite at the Disneyland Resort so I totally understand wanting to book a trip to see it! The Holidays officially end on January 9, 2022. This means that all the holiday fun and festivities continue through closing time that day. Starting on January 10, 2022, Haunted Mansion Holiday will close in order to remove the seasonal overlay and will open a few weeks later with the regular Haunted Mansion theming.

So if you plan to visit on January 8th or 9th, you'll be just in time! I urge you to buy your tickets and make your theme park reservations right away as January dates are already beginning to sell out. Additionally, you might consider adding Disney Genie+ to your tickets so you can utilize the Lightning Lane. As Haunted Mansion Holiday approaches its final days of the season, the queue can get very long with folks wanting one more glimpse of Jack Skellington's creation.
