    When will the haunted mansion be closed for the holiday layover in September?

    Hi there Mackenna!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'd be happy to help answer your question about one of my favorite attractions, Disneyland Park's Haunted Mansion. While there is not currently a refurbishment schedule for the fall yet, there are certain times historically that this spooky estate has not welcomed visitors. In the past Haunted Mansion has been temporarily closed near the end of August through mid-September for its seasonal transformation into Haunted Mansion Holiday. I finally was able to experience this merry and scary makeover last year, and I couldn't believe this was still the same attraction. Not a single detail has been overlooked to create a frightfully festive experience based on the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Disneyland Park is also the only Disney Park in the United States where you can see this unique attraction!

    Make sure to check the Daily Events Schedule in the weeks prior to your trip to check which attractions and entertainment will be available during your visit.
