Howdy Rebekah!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your upcoming visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be delighted to discuss budget-friendly fall fun at Walt Disney World. Let's get ghosting!
Currently, there are no haunted hayrides at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and I don't have any information regarding a potential return. The best way to discover news and information about future resort offerings is to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and
planDisney on social media. I recommend following both on Instagram and Facebook.
In the meantime, if you're interested in other activities at "the Fort" check out the
Wagon Rides (not haunted, but still fun!) and
Golf Cart Rentals. If you take your golf cart for a spin around the campsites during spooky season, you'll see some incredible Halloween displays made by the Guests of this resort.
Another low-cost, high-fun activity is a seasonal scavenger hunt at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit is a Halloween-themed quest that's engaging for Guests of all ages. My daughter completed
Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak last year and used the lunch tote prize all year in school.
Hot tip: scurrying around World Showcase under the afternoon Florida sun is tiring. Make sure to hydrate in between discoveries!
I hope this is helpful and gives you ideas for some enjoyable things to do this fall. Thanks again for sending your question to planDisney. We look forward to welcoming you "home" soon!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
