I hate going to a show and not being able to see it. So, I am wondering, are category 2 or 3 seats at La Nouba "good" seats? Will we be able to enjoy the show from these sections?

    Hi Jacqueline:

I am a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba at Downtown Disney. Like you, I also enjoy clear views of shows I attend. Luckily, a large majority of seating at La Nouba can be considered good-to-great seats. I would encourage everyone to see the show at least one time, no matter what the seating category.

As of now, La Nouba provides seating in a "Front and Center" category as well as in Categories 1-3. Front and Center tickets cost the most but provide the closest seats to the stage and in the center of the theatre. Category 1 seating are seats that are either located close to the stage but not necessarily in the theatre's center or are located towards the center of the theatre but are set back from the stage. Category 2 seating is either located further back from the stage or towards the sides of the theatre. Category 3 seats are generally located even further back and on the sides.

I'm a fan of La Nouba and have seen the show in both Category 1 Category 2 seats. I have found that Category 2 seating works for my family and has not impacted my family's enjoyment of the show. The theatre design is modern and our Category 2 seats have never had an obstructed view.

Since a poor view can really impact your enjoyment of the show, I would recommend playing it safe and skipping Category 3 and choosing either Category 1 or 2 seating. If, however, budget is less of a factor and your family are huge Cirque du Soleil fanatics or avid theatre-goers who would really appreciate the extra "wow" of sitting directly up close, they may appreciate Front and Center seats.

    Enjoy the show.
