I hate all this online stuff but what do I need to do to book our activities at different parks?

    Hiya, Kevin!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you stopped by with your question. Oh boy! There are so many options and online tools available for planning your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I can completely understand how it may feel confusing or even overwhelming at times. Let's start with the essentials!

The best tool for online bookings, and planning your magical itinerary on the go is My Disney Experience. Creating an account and downloading the My Disney Experience app gives you the ability to make theme park plans in real-time and even create Mobile Food & Beverage orders during your visit. I also recommend that each adult in your travel party creates an account and links their plans. Accounts for young travelers should be created and managed by their parents/guardians. The app also features Disney Genie. This is a great option for creating a customized day based on the must-dos of your travel party. You've truly never had a friend like this magical guide. You can start planning by tapping the three bars at the bottom of the screen and choosing the My Genie Day tile. Add your group favorites, and just like magic, POOF! On the day of your park visit, Genie will create a customized plan to help you maximize your time and have the best day ever!

Perhaps the most important feature (and essential booking) is the ability to make Park Pass reservations. All four theme parks require a Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Once you have purchased your tickets, I recommend making your reservations as soon as possible. Some dates offer limited availability due to popularity, so if there are parks that are a must-see on specific dates, don't delay. Make your Park Pass reservations right away! You can do this by tapping the + at the bottom of the screen. Next, choose the Make a Park Reservation option to choose your dates and park option. You can also make these reservations online through the Walt Disney World website. And while you are on the website, you can also book dining reservations and incredible tours, dessert parties, and so many more experiences.

Now that we have covered Park Pass reservations, dining, and Disney Genie I think you are off to a good start! There are still a few additional bookings you can create for a park visit. These include Genie+ Lightning Lanes and Individual Lightning Lanes. These are optional add-ons that save you time waiting in line so you have more time to enjoy your favorite attractions. You can book these selections on the day of your theme park adventure in the app, so no need to make these plans today!

I know that we went through a lot of options in a short time, and I hope you find these tips helpful. Stop back anytime with all of your planning questions!
    See ya real soon!
