Does the Harmony Barbershop do anything like pony/pig tails or braids? Trying to get something nice for my girls but not spend a fortune on the other boutique.

Hi Scot! The Harmony Barber Shop located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World has become a very popular stop with many families. This is an old fashioned looking barber shop with three chairs and it is almost always busy and full. They specialize is a child's first haircut but they will welcome anyone who needs a trim. My husband has stopped by and gotten his hair cut a few times and my grandchildren have all experienced a special trim there during a vacation.

I am not sure if they will braid hair but they will comb and make a little princess feel special by adding some pixie dust and gel. It is highly recommended you make reservations for an appointment and do this as soon as you know the day you will be in the Magic Kingdom. Please call 407-WDW-DINE.  They are open from 9am-5pm seven days a week. Adult hair cuts are $19 and children 12 and under cuts will be $15. If you want to add the colored gel it is $5.

There are also hair salons located in the Coronado Springs, Yacht and Beach, and Grand Floridian resorts that can also do special things for hair. Their prices likely would be a bit more then the Harmony Barbershop.
