How hard is it to travel in Disney? We are spending day 1 of 2.5 in MK. I'd like to go to our hotel PO Riverside during the day and then back to MK for fireworks, but worried buses will be too much of a time killer.

    Hi Nancy,

We never rent a car on our Disney vacations, so utilizing the buses have become a piece of our vacations so to speak. Taking a mid-day break is quite common and could give you a much needed refresher. You should plan on the buses taking you at least an hour. This is because they come approximately every 20 minutes. You never know if you just missed one (so you could be waiting a while), or if one is coming around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule). The ride itself isn't too long from the Magic Kingdom to Port Orleans Riverside.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation!

Please let me know if I can assist you further,
