Hi there, Kellie! Welcome to planDisney!
Buttons and bows, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only four days away! Time to map out all the magical plans you've been making. Let's make sure you know exactly where you're headed every step of the way on your vacation.
Disney doesn't send out hard copies of maps anymore, but there is a way to print out a copy of the very same, up-to-date maps that are used in the theme parks every day. I'll link each version here, but I also want to walk you through how to find them in case you need them in the future.
Magic Kingdom Park Guide MapEPCOT Guide MapDisney's Hollywood Studios Guide MapDisney's Animal Kingdom Park Guide MapDisney Springs Guide MapAt the bottom of the page for each theme park is an interactive map with a link underneath it to bring up the daily Guide Map. Using the
Magic Kingdom Park as an example, click on the "Map" icon just under the large photo of Cinderella Castle. That will take you down all the way to the bottom of the page where you'll see the interactive map. Under that, you'll see an arrow next to the text "Disney's Magic Kingdom Guide Map." Clicking there takes you to the PDF version of the current Guide Map. You can print it out and use it to plan your practically perfect day. Then, when you arrive at the park, go ahead and grab one of the pre-printed maps so you have a nice fresh version for your visit.
Kellie, you'll also see that the printed map legends are broken out by category, so you can find all of the dining locations in each theme park at a glance. But the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone is an even better way to narrow down your dining options! Just click on the map icon at the bottom of your screen (it looks like a little teardrop with a circle inside it). Above the map, click on the down arrow to bring up a menu that will show you all of the categories you can view. Click on "Dining" to see every restaurant and its exact location in the park. Clicking on one of the icons on the map brings up a box with the name of the restaurant ; click on the box to go to the full info page with links to the menus. To change to a different park, click on "Filter" in the top left corner, select the park you'd like to view, and hit "Apply" at the bottom of the screen. Can you believe all this information is available in the palm of your hand?
I hope this helps you get all of your last-minute plans in place, Kellie. Before you know it, it'll be
time to fly!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
