How hard is it to build a lightsaber at Savi's or a droid at Droid depot? Could a 12 yr old do it with his 14 yr old sis as his guest? We were only able to get 1 res. I know only 1 guest is allowed and sis wants the experience.

    Bright Suns, Mary!

Impressed I am with your planning prowess. Lucky you were to score a reservation at Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot at Walt Disney World Resort! I sense that your young Jedi are skilled in the ways of the Force. They will hone their skills and make you proud.

We have 13-year old girls and both experiences were perfect for them. I will say that the droid building seemed more complicated, so having one of your children be the builder and one be the guest at each experience sounds like a good plan. When my family built lightsabers, we each built one. The girls were 12-years old at the time and did well with the help of the Gatherers. We just recently built droids and my husband I were guests with each girl. The droid building atmosphere was louder. One of our girls has an auditory processing disorder and needed a lot of support understanding the verbal instructions.

If you want each of them to build, you can certainly keep checking availability. I do hope you have considered other plans on Batuu. Our Resistance Forces would welcome your skills on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Plan for a break at Oga's Cantina and find your way to Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Remember that Jedi training is ongoing. Practice your translation and droid hacking skills by downloading the Star Wars: Datapad on Play Disney Parks Mobile App

Mary, the First Order persists despite our best efforts. Resistance Forces on Batuu courageously await your arrival!

    Good journey,
