HappyMothersDay, Andrea &Thanks for all your help! We LOVE BLT & had a great 1st visit :) Can't wait to plan our return trip next year - maybe try BCV. How's the BCV studio compare to BLT? Heard it more dated? Any advise on room location request?

Happy belated Mother's Day to you, Jenny!

I'm so happy that you loved Bay Lake Tower and that your 1st visit was a success!

My family and I just returned from a week at Disney's Beach Club Resort, which is adjacent to Disney's Beach Club Villas; it was their first visit to the BoardWalk area and they really loved it. You will love being able to enter Epcot through the International Gateway (kind of like a back door entrance) and having the option of walking or boating to Disney's Hollywood Studios, too. Plus, the BoardWalk is such a nice addition to your nighttime entertainment options as well.

Take a look at the photos of the studios in the link above for an accurate idea of the resort's decor. I would say that the rooms are light and airy, with a touch of romance added to this "New England-style Resort hotel." I find it to be elegant yet welcoming at the same time. Guests will find similar room amenities in both BLT and BCV, so you'll know what to expect to find in your room at this point.

Regarding room requests, consider what's important to your family. Like a short walk to the resort buses? Request a room that's closer to Beach Club Resort. Want easy access to the Quiet Pool? Request a room near the center of the building. No matter what, I'd call to make your reservation and ask the Cast Member who is assisting you with booking for suggestions based on your own family's preferences.

Have fun planning your next trip, Jenny! I know that the one thing that can console me when I leave WDW is the excitement of planning our next adventure, so enjoy the ride! Of course, send more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
