Happy Thursday Night: My question is, are ECVs allowed to be used up to loading in Pandora attractions? Thanks, Pati

    Hi Pati!

Although my visit to this wonderful new Pandora-The World of Avatar in the Animal KIngdom park was before the official opening I was able to experience the new attractions and see how they would accommodate the guests.

Both the Flight of Passage and na'vi River Journey are attractions where guests will have to be able to load onto the ride vehicles. But they have made the queue lines nice and wide and large enough for ECV's to maneuver through them. At that time it was planned that ECV's and wheelchairs would use the regular queue lines. After opening for a month now they could adjust these plans at any time.

To load for the Na'vi River Journey you will need to step down into a boat similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean boats. For the Flight of Passage vehicle it is quite different. You must be able to sit on what is similar to a bicycle/motorcycle and there are body restrictions for this. You can see if you are able to ride by visiting the test vehicle they have on display before waiting in the long line.

Just journeying around this new area is a treat and be sure and experience the gift store and the canteen for some great and unusual items and foods.
