Hey there, David, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home, my DVC neighbor. I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great question. I just love being able to chat about the
Disney Vacation Club Resorts with a fellow Member!
The newly renovated rooms at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are so gorgeous, airy and bright, I agree that it's easy to become spoiled there. But as someone who
loves staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and
Jambo House, rest assured that you will not be disappointed. From the moment you arrive, you're transported to a beautiful African village on the savanna, and with some of the best
dining options in all of Walt Disney World Resort and the seemingly endless list of incredible animal-centric Resort activities, you can have a
wild adventure here without ever even leaving your Resort!
I have had recent stays at both Kidani Village and Jambo House at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, and I found that the rooms are incredibly clean and in great condition. On my last stay in a Deluxe Studio, the room did still have carpet, and since the room stays true to the African theme with plenty of beautiful, dark woodwork in the room, it can make the room seem darker than the light and bright rooms at Saratoga Springs Resort. However, at Animal Kingdom Villas, with the African decor and giraffes roaming right outside of my window, I felt completely immersed in the story in a way that only Disney can do. Get ready for a
roaring good time, and be ready to be spoiled even more, David!
As soon as you arrive at either Kidani Village or Jambo House, be sure to snap a photo of the Resort Activities board in or near the lobby for a schedule of the awesome activities. There are
so many great activities to do at these two Resorts, you won't want to miss a thing!
I hope this was helpful, David, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable African safari expedition, I mean ... Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Please stop by any time with any planning questions you may have along the way.
Adventure is out there!
