Hello and Happy New Year!. Could you tell me when value seasons are for 2015 or when the Christmas lights go up. Also, when is the latest time to go for a week before prices go up for the Christmas holiday. Thank You

Hello and Happy New Year to you, too!

Christmas at Walt Disney World is such a magical time with all the holiday decorations. Last year, the decorations were essentially up by the end of the first week of November, so it is likely that they would be up around a similar time in 2015. In fact, you can read about the amazing work of cast members as they transformed Main Street, U.S.A at the Magic Kingdom this year.

Since I'm not sure what resorts you are interested in, I can't offer you specific dates for the values seasons in 2015. However, I can direct you toward a website that will provide you with that information.  If you visit www.touringplans.com, click on Walt Disney World (it is at the top, left) then go to the far right and pull down the menu under More. Then, select Disney World Hotels. Once there, you can scan through the page and click on any of the resorts you are interested in; at the top of each of page is a link to the Rack Rates for each resort where you can see the dates for the different Value Seasons.

I'd also encourage you to view the Special Offers page at the Walt Disney World website as there could be some possible discounts, too.

Happy planning and please let us know if we can help again!
