Hiya, Amber!
Thank you for sending these
Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions to us hEAR at planDisney!
You are a Mouseketeer after my own hEARt. I love staying in a Club Level room at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel. Not only do the little luxuries add extra magic to a stay at The Happiest Place on Earth, these rooms and the lounges offer some of the best views of the whole resort! I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to peek inside your
My Disneyland Profile to see which
Disneyland Resort Hotel you'll call home during your visit, but you will get a set schedule at check-in.
Typically an 'Evening Reception' starts at either 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM depending on the hotel. This set time features a selection of wines and beer, about four or five of both. The reception ends at 7:00 PM, but there's another round of drinks and desserts that will start at either 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM depending on the hotel. (If you're at a location that has a break between 7:00 and 8:00, you'll still have access to the grab-and-go style mini fridges as well as a very fancy coffee maker.) I'm very happy to say that all of the selections, all day, are served 'All You Care to Enjoy' style, and you're more than welcome to take snacks and drinks back to your Guest Room to enjoy later. (The lounge closes for the night after the 'Sweet Ending' dessert hour and does not reopen until breakfast time the next morning, so snacks-to-go are highly encouraged by this panelist.)
Breakfast will depend on the hotel as well as the day. It's usually a Continental style of breakfast breads, pastries, fruit, cereal, and sometimes oatmeal with all of the fixings. I've also seen Mickey Waffles served before. Pro Tip: Adult beverages are usually not out on display during the morning and daytime open hours of the Club Lounge. However, if you ask nicely, you might be able to request a glass of bubbles at breakfast to mix with the available juices or a mid-day merlot.
Bonus Tip: These guides are a bit dated now, but the Disney Parks Blog has previously written about the Club Level experiences at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the
Disneyland Hotel,
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your questions, Amber! Be sure to follow the
