Hi there, Emily! Happy holidays right back at you, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question.
I just returned from a merry and magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I’m happy to report that this year’s
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has even more holly jolly to offer! The lights and mid-century decor on the Tomorrowland Speedway are really great, and the rock and roll Christmas version of Space Mountain is just fantastic.
As the Disney Parks Blog put it, Mike, Sully, and their friends from Monstropolis are adding some “ha ha ha” to your “ho ho ho” at this year’s party, and their monster Christmas ornaments are too cute.
The holiday version of
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Emily. If you visit during regular park hours, you’ll see the regular show, but you could always submit some holiday jokes before the show to add some holly to the jolly!
One holiday overlay that’s available every day in Magic Kingdom Park is the
Jungle Cruise, which transforms into the Jingle Cruise over Christmas. I can’t get enough of the Skippers’ pun-derful Christmas jokes! There are also plenty of
delicious holiday treats throughout the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. My family loved the cinnamon almonds, which we found at snack carts in the various parks – I thought they tasted extra yummy when mixed with a handful of popcorn.
I hope you enjoy all the
holiday magic, Emily! If you think of any further questions as you plan and dream for your visit (it’s coming up SO soon!), please come back and see us again.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
