    Will Happy Hauntings at Downtown Disney be taking place this October? We are arriving on Oct 29th, but I saw on the internet that it was cancelled. Are there any halloween activities going on at the Wilderness Lodge and if so, what and when. Thanks

    Downtown Disney is definitely ready for Fall! Many restaurants are offering seasonal menu items, and the area is decorated accordingly. There is exciting entertainment planned during the month of October, some of which will be detailed in the daily Times Guide, some specifically not disclosed in order to surprise Guests.

    Unfortunately, the two-day Happy Hauntings trick-or-treat event at Downtown Disney has been canceled. Some have speculated that the crowds became so unwieldy that Disney executives no longer determined this a positive Guest experience.

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a gorgeous Resort, and a wonderful place to call "home" while you are at Disney. While nothing official has been posted, many of the Resorts in the past have been known to spring Halloween surprises: themed crafts for children, Halloween activities, and games.

    Give the Lodge a call on or around the 28th of October to find out what special surprises await: (407) 824-3200.
