Hi, Karla!
Fall is my very favorite time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and that's because my favorite special event of the year is happening in Magic Kingdom Park!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my "can't-miss" event each year - it's spooktacular fun for the whole family!
In past years, Guests who booked the
Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party would have a reserved viewing spot for Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade, then dine on a frighteningly fabulous array of Halloween-themed desserts before watching the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks from a "to-die-for" private viewing location.
With the newly released dates and information for 2017, it looks as though the party includes the private dessert party with a bewitching buffet of treats and drinks, and a reserved VIP viewing area for the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks, but no longer includes the reserved parade viewing area earlier in the evening.
Not to worry, there are lots of great spots to catch Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade, and it's typically offered twice on Halloween Party evenings. Make sure to watch for the Headless Horseman, who walks the parade route about ten minutes prior to the parade (weather permitting). His grand black horse and jack-o-lantern head, carried high in his hand, are quite the spooky sight!
Another not-to-miss offering is the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. This live show, held on the castle forecourt stage, is simply amazing!
Thanks for stopping by with your question - have a magical day! - Diane W.
