Hi Andrea!
Here at planDisney, we love when old friends return with more questions, so welcome back! Solo trips can be so much fun. I’ve done a solo day at Epcot and Disneyland and it allowed me to slow down and take in all the little details of the parks that my family normally rushes by. On my day at Epcot, I really enjoyed checking out the pavilions of World Showcase, and I highly recommend leaving yourself extra time to wander and soak in the magic!
Currently, only the
Specialty Cruises have returned for firework viewing. These cruises are something where you must fully book the entire boat, and individual booking is not offered. Depending on when your trip will be, perhaps some of the other fireworks cruises that do offer individual booking will have returned? The
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise, is still on pause, but if it returns, it can be booked as an individual. I highly recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest reopening announcements!
Do you know anyone that lives in the central Florida area that might want to drive down for the evening to join you? Maybe this would be another option? You could meet for dinner at one of the Disney Resort Collection Hotels, and then do the fireworks cruise together. If you are unable to take the cruise, Andrea, what about treating yourself to dinner at
California Grill to take in the amazing view? Or grab a
DOLE Whip at the Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and enjoy the show from the beach area.
I hope one of these ideas will work for you, and that you have a truly magical solo trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! You know where to find us, Andrea, so I hope you'll send more questions as your trip approaches!
Have a Magical Day!
