Happy Early Mom's Day I'm coming with a first timer, over 21, I'm not, and we sadly have to pick between Wishes & Fantasmic...I was wondering if I could get some feedback on which one you may pick; we are doing the doing HS during the day and MK aft

    Hi, Loyd!

Thanks for the Mom's Day wishes!

I have to advise my high school seniors (about 400 of them every year) about picking Fantasmic or Wishes when our schedules simply do not allow us to see both. It is a tough choice, to be sure!

You can't go wrong with either one of them, but I tend to recommend Wishes to those who have to choose. On the other hand, there are some days where savvy Guests can, if you are willing and able to try, race from Fantasmic to Magic Kingdom, and get there in time to see Wishes. On our last two senior trips, I led a gaggle of students and chaperones from one to the other, and we arrived at Cinderella Castle with 20 minutes to spare. We even got there in time to watch Celebrate the Magic, a jaw-dropping 10 minute story which is projected onto Cinderella Castle about 15 minutes prior to Wishes.

Send me another Question including your dates of stay and which day you'd like to see either Fantasmic or Wishes. If you are interested in trying to do both, I'll check the calendar to see if it's possible, then advise you how to manage it.

Have a wonderful trip, Loyd! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
