Will happily ever after show from 21st - 27th of December?

    Hi Jessica!

A very merry welcome to planDisney!  It looks like you're preparing for a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year!  There is so much festive fun in the parks and around the resorts that you're sure to find the holiday spirit around every corner.

Jessica, with all of the excitement happening this time of year, there are a few changes to regular entertainment schedules in the parks.  Most notably, Happily Ever After is not scheduled to be shown from December 21-27, 2024.  In fact, Happily Ever After will see its last performance of 2024 on December 18th and will once again resume on January 1, 2025.  While I know this may be disappointing at first, I'm happy to share that you won't miss out on a gorgeous fireworks show during your visit to Magic Kingdom Park.

On the days leading up to and immediately following Christmas, Guests will be able to enjoy Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.  Typically, this show is only seen during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, making it an extra special opportunity to catch it outside of the special-ticketed event.  Then, on December 30 and December 31, Guests can see the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks as a special treat to ring in the new year!  You can find a full schedule of park hours, parades, and nighttime entertainment available on the Walt Disney World Resort website to help you plan your days.

In case you missed it, the Disney Parks Blog recently released a Foodie Guide highlighting some special sweets and eats available exclusively during the holiday season.  I also have a visit planned this December and have been busy making my list (and checking it twice!) so I don't miss any of my must-try treats.  I don't know about you, but the Hot Cocoa Lunch Box Tart at Woody's Lunch Box is at the top of my list!  You'll also want to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for an additional Foodie Guide just for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

Jessica, I ho-ho-hope this information has been helpful as you continue to plan for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
