Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to see us with this spooktacular question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. If my ghastly suspicions are correct, it sounds like you’re preparing to go to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom during this year’s spooky season. What a treat! During this separate-ticket event, you’ll experience some of the best entertainment Disney World has to offer along with special party-exclusive treats for purchase, attraction overlays, trick-or-treating throughout the park, and more.
As far as entertainment goes, guests will have the opportunity to see Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade (be warned – the song is very catchy), the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show in front of Cinderella Castle, take photos with Disney characters in the coolest costumes, and marvel at the lasers and fireworks during Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. Due to this ominous fireworks display, Happily Ever After will not be featured on party nights. While that might be a tiny bit disappointing, I think you will really enjoy the Halloween fireworks. The host, Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will make sure of it.

My Disney Experience app during the party to locate the costumed characters and decide which ones are important for you and your crew to meet and take BOO-tiful photos with. Finally, consider purchasing a
Memory Maker package before your visit. Memory Maker allows guests to download unlimited
PhotoPass photos from their Disney vacations. You can purchase a one-day package or a full package for your entire visit. Take frightful photos with PhotoPass photographers throughout the park during the party and enjoy exclusive Magic Shots and props in select locations.
