Welcome to planDisney, Amy.
How exciting that you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth this October! That's the time of year when all the Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize. It's also the time of year when Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place.
My pals at planDisney just released some helpful tricks and tips for this amazing event.
Disney has just released the 2023 dates for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you've never experienced it, I highly recommend getting a ticket. It's totally worth it, Amy.
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade is a blast, as rambunctious pirates and Disney villains put on a frightfully fun performance. There are also unique snacks, photo opportunities, a chance to dress up in costume, and shorter waits for attractions.
Around the time of your visit, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park. This is a special event and therefore requires a separate ticket. It begins at 7:00 PM, but Guests attending this event are allowed into the park from 4:00 PM onwards. Those with only a standard ticket must exit Magic Kingdom Park at 6:00 PM. On these nights, there is a special nighttime spectacular, namely,
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, for Guests attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Therefore, the regular nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, won't be shown on those nights. However, on any nights that don't have a special event you can expect to see the fireworks.
I hope that's helpful, Amy. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
Mike
