Greetings again, Barbara!
My family and I feel so grateful for the support and accommodations afforded to those of us with
disabilities and other special needs. The
Disability Access Service (DAS), has been a blessing to help make a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth manageable and enjoyable.
Guests who register for
DAS Advance between 2 and 30 days before arrival have the option to book up to two extra experiences per day of their visit from a limited selection of attractions and times. These are in addition to DAS return time reservations that may be booked within the
Disneyland mobile app during each day of your visit to the theme parks. The DAS Advance experience selections work essentially the same as
Lightning Lane return times that can be made with the
Disney Genie+ service or by purchasing
individual Lightning Lane return times. These reservations are for a specific hour-long window that you may choose during your DAS Advance registration interview. So you may choose from available times that will work best for you. On the day of your visit, should something cause an unexpected delay, you will have a few minutes of a grace period. But if the return time should expire, you may still be eligible to book a regular DAS return time for that attraction, subject to availability.
Thanks for your questions to us at planDisney, Barbara. We hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort!
