Hiya, Scott!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning an upcoming vacation this fall. You'll be there in time to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and all of the holiday festivities. It's the merriest place on earth for sure!
Scott, as
Disney Vacation Club Members, we can make up to two Waitlist requests in our Use Year. In the event that one of your Waitlist requests comes through, the system will automatically replace an existing, booked reservation with the reservation for which you had been Waitlisted. It should also
cancel the other Waitlist reservation, as well as all other existing reservations made for comparable dates. However, if your Waitlist reservation comes through, I recommend confirming the other reservations are indeed canceled so that you don't lose any additional Vacation Points. It is unlikely that both Waitlist reservations will come through at the same time, as the system manages the Waitlist, and Cast Members are unable to see where a Guest is on that Waitlist. Therefore, the second Waitlist should be automatically canceled should the first one come through and vice versa.
I hope this helps you, Scott. I have included the
FAQs about the Waitlist here to help you, but if you have any additional questions, stop back and see me. I'll be so happy to help you!
Magically Yours,
Keri
